Faculty members can apply for a 2021-22 XR Awards.
Deadline is Friday, Sept. 3.
What does the future of your field look like? XR applications—virtual, augmented, mixed, and spatial reality—have been continuously evolving leading to new discoveries in a number of areas. In an effort to promote XR scholarship at the University, the 2021-22 XR Awards will pair individual faculty members with a team of XR developers to design, develop, and prototype an XR app that will further their teaching, research, or creative scholarship. Faculty members with creative, innovative, and promising ideas across a range of disciplines may apply now. These awards support work that will lead to new research and will help us maximize XR’s potential across the arts, business, health care, humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and social sciences. A maximum of 10 applicants each may receive up to $10,000 per award. Learn more and submit a letter of intent.
