Follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
Faculty, staff, and postdoctoral associates employed by the University are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2021-22 academic year, subject to certain exceptions, including medical and religious exemptions. Faculty and staff members who have received a religious or medical exemption are required to test weekly for the coronavirus.
Per University COVID-19 protocols, everyone is required to wear a mask in all indoor spaces. In addition, as President Julio Frenk noted in an email announcement on Aug. 27, the policy has been updated to require that masks be worn outdoors when in groups of four people or more. This rule is effective until Friday, Sept. 17, when results of a reassessment and updated protocols will be publicized. Learn more about the University COVID-19 protocols shared on Aug. 27.
