All University faculty members are invited to attend the meeting and take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and voice their concerns directly to the president. It will be held virtually. Unlike other senate meetings, this one will have no set agenda, but it will allow faculty members to meet with the president in a smaller setting. It is that time of the year again, when faculty members can acknowledge their colleagues by nominating them for one of the Faculty Senate Awards. There are three categories: teaching, scholarship, and service. Learn more about each award and how to nominate a colleague. University of Miami faculty and staff members who work full time and receive benefits are eligible to receive one complimentary football game ticket and can purchase up to three additional ones—for $1 each—to one of two games this season. They include the games against NC State on Saturday, Oct. 23, and Georgia Tech on Saturday, Nov. 6. With each employee purchase you’ll be able to buy a parking pass for $10. To get tickets, log on to your employee account using your account number—included in the email sent to eligible employees—and follow the prompts to select seats and a parking pass. Tickets and parking passes will be delivered to the email address on your account. Each ticket includes a $10 concession voucher, which can be scanned at the stadium to redeem.
