Hosted by Human Resources’ Workplace Equity and Inclusion, Ask Me Anything, with Marisa Page from First Nations Development Institute, a nonprofit organization that assists Native American tribes, will explore the significance of Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month. Attendees will have the opportunity to enhance their understanding of the myths and inaccuracies surrounding Indigenous tribes, gain awareness of contemporary issues impacting Indigenous peoples, and build skills to become an ally in the community.

About the speaker:
Marisa Page is an enrolled citizen of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma and is a descendent of the Ponca and Comanche Nation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of New Mexico and Master of Legal Studies with a focus in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently development officer for First Nations Development Institute.
