When making your gift you may direct your contribution to the United Way Miami’s mission of education, financial resiliency, and health, or direct your gift to a local nonprofit organization, including the University of Miami. Special support reaps benefits.
Faculty and staff members who contribute one percent of their annual salary may be eligible for additional benefits when supporting the United Way at the leadership level. Donors at the one-percent level will be invited to a reception hosted by President Julio Frenk and receive two tickets to the ’Canes Lounge at 2022 Homecoming.
Roll-over options available.
Employees may elect for their contributions to roll over each year. If you elected the roll-over option for 2021, you may update your pledge for next year online. Login to Workday and click “give,” and “United Way,” to update. You will be redirected to the United Way giving portal page, which provides the option to change the pledge for 2022.
