University participates in beach clean up

Volunteers from the University of Miami Department of Facilities Operations and Planning, City of Coral Gables, and Miami-Dade County collected more than 300 pounds of debris at Matheson Hammock Park last week.

The University of Miami Department of Facilities Operations and Planning partnered with the City of Coral Gables in support of the Keep Coral Gables Beautiful program. Working with volunteers from the City of Coral Gables and Miami-Dade County, 335 pounds of debris was collected at Matheson Hammock Park on Friday, Nov. 12.
