Health and safety reminders for 2022

As we enter the new year and continue to prioritize the health and safety of our communities, faculty and staff members are encouraged to review the requirements and resources that have been implemented as part of our adaptive and responsive approach to COVID-19. The University community is also invited to join a virtual town hall for the Coral Gables and Marine campuses today, Monday, Jan. 10, at 5:30 p.m. Watch the Medical campus town hall, which took place on Thursday, Jan. 6.

Review vaccine and booster shot requirements.
All faculty, staff, and postdoctoral associates are required to be fully vaccinated, subject to the exemptions outlined in Florida law. Proof of vaccination, including booster shots or exemption approval, must be submitted to Workday by Jan. 18, 2022. Additional information regarding vaccination, how to provide proof of vaccination, and testing requirements for individuals who are not fully vaccinated can be found on the Employee Health Office website.
