To celebrate the 2022 Winter Games the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center is hosting an Olympics-inspired fitness challenge you can complete from anywhere. Attend a virtual open house for precollege summer programs.

The University of Miami summer precollege programs provide a unique opportunity for current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to explore their academic passions and experience college life. Families are invited to register for an online open house session to learn more about the program, including available scholarship opportunities, the application process, areas of study, and how they may be eligible to earn college credits. Dependents of University employees may be eligible for tuition remission benefits. Open house attendees receive a $25 application fee waiver. Call 305-284-4000 to speak with an advisor.
Celebrate Black history by taking a fantastic voyage across the diaspora.

The University of Miami Black Alumni Society (UMBAS) invites the University community to come along for a virtual journey across the diaspora. Participants will make informative and enlightening stops at diasporic ports of call, taking a closer look at Haiti, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Ghana, to appreciate the beauty and strength that lie beyond their shores. The event will celebrate the University’s recognition of our diverse alumni history with the forthcoming Johnny C. Taylor Jr. Breezeway and The Taylor Family/UTrailblazers Experience. New electric vehicle charging stations.

Faculty, staff, and students can now access additional EV charging stations in Merrick and Albenga Garages, on the Coral Gables Campus. As part of a partnership with Florida Power & Light, and through a collaboration with the University's Department of Parking and Transportation and Office of Sustainability, new EV chargers are also scheduled to be installed in the Mahoney-Pearson Garage, Allen Hall, and Cox Lot. Install GlobalProtect VPN—the new University VPN solution.
PulseSecure VPN will be decommissioned on Feb. 28.
The University has implemented a new enterprise virtual private network (VPN) solution, GlobalProtect VPN, to replace Pulse Secure VPN, which will remain active until Feb. 28. Individuals that currently use Pulse VPN are encouraged to transition to GlobalProtect VPN before the decommission date. To get started, follow these instructions to install the GlobalProtect VPN client. Once installed, enter the Portal Address vpn.miami.edu in the VPN client to connect. Learn more.
