Faculty Club reopens.

The Faculty Club in the Whitten University Center is now available to faculty and staff members. Open from Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the dining space will offer a limited menu to include a simple buffet, soup, salad, and dessert for $12.95 per guest. Attend the next Faculty Senate meeting hosted by President Julio Frenk.

All University faculty members are invited to attend the meeting and take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions and voice their concerns directly to the president. It will be held virtually. Unlike other Faculty Senate meetings, this one will have no set agenda, but will allow faculty members to meet with Frenk in a smaller setting. The Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center is offering all University employees who are not already members complimentary access to the facility for four weeks, but only during select hours. Employees can visit the Wellness Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon; and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon. Located on the Coral Gables Campus, employees can take advantage of this opportunity to use the facility’s amenities, including the weight and cardio machines, group exercise and yoga classes, indoor pool, basketball courts, and locker room and showers.
