In celebration of Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day, University of Miami employees are invited to cheer on the Miami Marlins as they take on the Seattle Mariners at loanDepot Park on Saturday, April 30. Pre-game festivities start at 4 p.m. and the game starts at 6:10 p.m. Find out what to expect and how to obtain entrance to the stadium.

Join a conversation about gender and pronouns. 
Wednesday, May 4, at 10 a.m.
During this interactive session, faculty and staff members will hear from Claire Oueslati-Porter, interim director of the gender and sexuality studies program and senior lecturer, about gender, the significance and evolution of pronouns, and how to utilize pronouns effectively in the workplace. Participants will gain an increased understanding of gender and pronouns and their significance in supporting a diverse and inclusive environment and learn practical tips on how to incorporate gender pronouns into everyday interactions.
