Earlier this year the University introduced Landed—a voluntary benefit—to help faculty and staff purchase a home. Due to the volatility of the housing market, Landed has temporarily paused the down-payment program in certain areas, including Miami-Dade County. Landed continues to support homebuyers with our other services, including access to free financial coaching, homebuyer educational resources, and a network of expert lenders and agents. Employees may request to join the waitlist to be notified when Landed resumes the down-payment program in their area.
Participation in the Landed program is completely voluntary and participation is at the discretion of individual employees.
The Office of Human Resources recognizes the impact housing affordability is having on our communities and the quality of life for our employees. We look forward to the resumption of Landed’s down-payment program, and we will continue to explore additional options and partnerships that support your home buying journey.
