The Counseling Center’s Sexual Assault Resource Team (SART) has been a vital resource for students to talk about sexual assault anonymously and discover options available to them. Faculty and staff members are encouraged to volunteer with SART by making themselves available to answer phone calls received on the SART hotline. Interested applicants should contact Audrey Cleary by Jan. 20 at a.cleary@miami.edu and be available to attend the training on February 3 via Zoom. Learn more

Join a conversation about gender and pronouns.
Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.
Hosted by Claire Oueslati-Porter, director of the gender and sexuality studies program and senior lecturer, this interactive online session will explore gender and the evolution of pronouns. Participants will gain an increased understanding of gender and pronouns and their significance in supporting a diverse and inclusive environment. Reserve your spot.

Explore ways to prioritize self-care.

Self-care has a direct positive effect on mental health and emotional well-being. This webinar will explore healthy habits to recognize burnout and prevent it. Employees enrolled in the Well ’Canes Incentives program may be eligible to earn points by attending this session.
