More than 150 faculty and staff members gathered for the launch of the Essentials of Leadership (EOL) Series 17 cohort. Hosted by the Human Resources’ Talent and Organizational Development, EOL is a four-month program that provides participants with experiential learning and leadership, and networking opportunities. Since the program’s inception, over 900 faculty and staff member leader participants and 500 sponsors have been part of the program.
During the Feb. 1 event, held at the Newman Alumni Center, University leaders discussed the business of the U. They also reflected on their personal and professional experiences by sharing the lessons they’ve learned throughout their careers.
Participants, who are nominated and sponsored by their supervisor, engaged in a small group breakout session with University leaders to learn more about being a leader at the University.Additionally, sponsors networked with colleagues and shared ideas around employee engagement including Powered by You, the comprehensive engagement program which kicks off with the faculty and staff survey launching on Feb. 14, 2023.
