The University of Miami’s Department of Information Technology (UMIT) has implemented a new tool to enhance email security. PhishAlarm, available in Outlook, allows you to easily report a potential phishing email. To use, click on the “Report Phish” button within Outlook and the suspicious email will be forwarded to the IT Security team for review. Follow a visual step-by-step guide to learn how to use PhishAlarm on desktop, web, and iOS applications.

Street Fair begins Friday, Nov. 17.
From Sunday, Nov. 12, until Sunday, Nov. 19, The U Creates will partner with the Miami Book Fair to celebrate literacy and arts from around the world. ’Canes have exclusive promo codes for a discounted rate to the street fair on Saturday, Nov. 18, and Sunday, Nov. 19. In addition, several University faculty members, who are authors, will discuss their works as part of individual events.
