Faculty and staff members are eligible to purchase up to four Hurricanes Women’s Basketball tickets for $1.00 per ticket and up to four Hurricanes Men’s Basketball tickets for $1.50 per ticket. Learn how to report suspicious emails with PhishAlarm.
The University of Miami’s Department of Information Technology (UMIT) has implemented a new tool to enhance email security. PhishAlarm, available in Outlook, allows you to easily report a potential phishing email. To use, click on the “Report Phish” button within Outlook and the suspicious email will be forwarded to the IT Security team for review. Follow a visual step-by-step guide to learn how to use PhishAlarm on desktop, web, and iOS applications.

Explore the Faculty and Staff Engagement Hub.
The Toppel Career Center has launched the Faculty and Staff Engagement Hub—a collection of resources and tools curated to support your conversations with students about career opportunities and joining the workforce. The Hub also offers real-time job market data and a direct line to engage with the Career Champions Network. Learn more

Enjoy the Miami Book Fair.
Street Fair begins Friday, Nov. 17.
From Sunday, Nov. 12, until Sunday, Nov. 19, The U Creates will partner with the Miami Book Fair to celebrate literacy and arts from around the world. ’Canes have exclusive promo codes for a discounted rate to the street fair on Saturday, Nov. 18, and Sunday, Nov. 19. In addition, several University faculty members, who are authors, will discuss their works as part of individual events.
