Bring your gardening skills to the arboretum.
Thursday, March 21, at 4:30 p.m.
The Sustainability Garden in the Gifford Arboretum invites all ’Canes to work together in maintaining the thriving garden. Volunteers will learn to inspect and nurture the area by removing weeds and applying soil and mulch where needed. Sign up today.

Join a free Pilates class.
Thursday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Public Interest Network, this hour-long pilates session will be led by a certified Pilates and barre instructor. ’Canes interested in attending are asked to bring their own mat. The class will include 30 minutes of barre followed by 30 minutes of mat Pilates. Register to attend. Space is limited. 

Grow your own edible garden.
Friday, March 22, at 5 p.m.
South Florida’s subtropical climate is perfect for growing an abundance of different vegetables, fruits, and herbs. ’Canes are invited to learn the basics of gardening and how to overcome challenges gardeners face specific to Florida’s climate. This event will be led by experts from the UF/IFAS Extension Miami-Dade County Urban Horticulture Program. Register to attend.
