WW at Work kick-off workshop

It’s mid-year and the perfect time to check in on your health goals. Now’s the perfect time to register for the next session of WW at Work, formerly Weight Watchers at Work, which kicks off on the Coral Gables, Rosenstiel, and medical campuses this month. Attend the session on July 26 at Gables One Tower, room 639, to qualify for a new incentive discount of 15 percent off your registration cost. UM faculty and staff, are eligible to be reimbursed for participating in the 12-week program, which meets weekly from noon to 1 p.m. on all three campuses. Community discussion on Pride

All are welcome to attend a community discussion on Pride at the LGBTQ Student Center, room 2300-J in the Whitten University Center on the Coral Gables Campus. Hurricanes Junior Cheerleaders
Register now; practice starts Sept. 8
Sign up your spirited child to participate in the fifth season of the Hurricanes Junior Cheerleaders program. As part of the program, your child will wear an authentic cheer uniform with their very own set of pompoms, learn from and perform alongside of the Hurricanes Cheer and Sunsations Dance teams at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 9 against the Louisville Cardinals. UM faculty, staff, and their dependents covered under the University’s medical plan continue to receive a discount at all 15 UHealth Clinics at Walgreens. Visits are $5, and clinics are open seven days a week throughout the summer. The UHealth Clinics at Walgreens are available for same-day visits for minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, sore throats, pink eye, and more; and each location is staffed by University of Miami Health System advanced practice registered nurses.
