Volunteer during ’Cane Kickoff

UM faculty and staff from across the University are invited to manage information stations and help students and their families navigate the Coral Gables campus during ’Cane Kickoff, the University’s undergraduate student orientation program. Volunteer shifts are available in 1.5-hour time slots from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Aug. 12-14. With the approval of your manager, register for your preferred date and time in advance. Learn more. UHealth now has a dedicated team that works to support supply chain operations for all hospital-based and ambulatory facilities of the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics. Workday users may notice changes to the workflow, including new team members assigned to their purchase requisitions. University Purchasing continues to support all UM schools and colleges, including the Miller School of Medicine, and all academic and research accounts. Discover and explore the University’s art museum located on the Coral Gables campus during this free event that’s open to the public. Make note of the upcoming dates this fall, including Thursday, Sept. 5, Thursday, Oct. 3, and a special Art Basel edition on Thursday, Dec. 5. Pro tip: UM employees have free admission to the museum with their UM badge.
