Review your route.

Cyclists completing the 100-mile, 50-mile, and 15-mile routes will start and end at the Hard Rock Stadium. The 35-mile ride will begin on the Coral Gables Campus and end at the stadium. Parking will be available at the Hard Rock Stadium for 35-mile riders wishing to leave their cars overnight. No transportation will be provided. Stay tuned for more details.

The 5K route at the Hard Rock Stadium will include staggered start times to allow participants to keep their distance. Those running or walking will have a designated start time and a predetermined window during which to complete the course. There will be a limited number of water stations along the 5K route. Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated.

Bike rentals are not available.

DCC does not offer bike rentals. Because of a high demand for bikes, retailers are no longer able to keep rental inventory. Contact your local bike shop to ask about available inventory for purchase.

Safety first.

Face coverings will be required at all times unless eating, drinking, actively cycling, or walking/running in the 5K. Review more event safety protocols.

Celebrate at the finish line.

Because of limited event capacity, friends and family festival tickets will not be available this year. Only DCC XI participants will be able to attend the event. Based on their fundraising goals, Heavy Hitters and All-Pros—those who raise more than $3,000 or $10,000, respectively—will earn a limited number of additional festival tickets to the event, excluding access to the Heavy Hitter private area.

Register your minor(s).

Children 13 years old and younger are free to join their parents during the 5K, but must register online as a “5K Free Minor.” Children ages 14 to 17 can register as a minor participating in the 5K or 15-mile ride, but they are required to fundraise. At checkout, use promo code TEAMHURRICANESDCC to waive the registration fee. Register now.

Track your progress.

Download the new DCCXI app—available for Apple and Android devices. It allows you to access your fundraising campaign, contact supporters via email and text message, and update your DCC information all from your smartphone. It also helps you find the latest DCC news. iPhone users can connect the DCC XI app to Apple Health and track their activity.

Find tips and strategies to reach your goals to raise funds in support of life-saving research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. View the DCC XI fundraising toolkit. The deadline to reach your DCC fundraising goal is Friday, April 23.

Plan your event day attire.

Proudly sport your Team Hurricanes T-shirt or jersey and swag! Represent Team Hurricanes and the University of Miami at the DCC by wearing University colors—orange, green, and white. Remember to pack your mask.

Get social.

On event day and leading up to it, we want to see your posts on social media and share in the excitement on our Life@TheU channels. Use #CanesAgainstCancer in your posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. See you there!

Your supporters can tune in from home on April 10 to watch the DCC live on DolphinsChallengeCancer.com. Social media posts that include #DolphinsChallengeCancer have the opportunity to be displayed.
