Whether you’re looking to register for group fitness classes, keep updated on operation hours, or find details about reservations for outdoor adventures, we’re sharing the latest news about wellness and recreation at the University of Miami—including the Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center and the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center.

On both the Coral Gables and Medical campuses, faculty and staff members, students, and affiliate wellness center members can gain access to both facilities and expanded activities. Reservations may be required and hours are subject to change. Get the latest updates below and stay tuned on social media by following @UMiamiWellness and @UHealthFitness.

Check hours, parking, and operation updates before you go.

While both the Herbert Wellness Center and UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center are open, there may be slight changes to operating hours, especially during the summer. UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center will extend its evening hours to 9 p.m. beginning June 1, and the Herbert Wellness Center is operating on a summer schedule. Register for group fitness classes.

Group fitness classes—including yoga, cycling, total body conditioning, and more—are currently open to members and are operating on a summer schedule. All classes have capacity limitations and require registration. Pre-register for classes on the Coral Gables Campus, or visit the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center member portal to review the upcoming schedule and save yourself a spot.

Explore Miami through Outdoor Adventures.

Faculty and staff members are invited to take advantage of gear rentals without a membership to Outdoor Adventures or the Herbert Wellness Center. Learn more about how to reserve equipment, or climbing wall memberships at miami.edu/adventures

Review options for virtual wellness.

If you’re interested in beginning or expanding a fitness routine but prefer virtual classes, both locations continue to offer virtual programming. Explore membership options for each location by visiting its website.
