Explore trauma and stress-related disorders, including the symptoms, risk factors, effective treatments, and related challenges that often accompany acute stress and post-traumatic stress disorder. Explore new features with the Box upgrade. 
Available Wednesday, June 30.
Learn to navigate new features of Box, one of the University’s cloud storage tools, which include a New User Interface and Box Collections. The new web experience boasts faster load times for searches and previews, as well as more efficiency with content navigation, access, and organization. Dive into fashion with the Special Collections. 
Thursday, July 8, at 1 p.m.
Grab a VIP seat at the virtual runway with Cristina Favretto, head of Special Collections, for a whirlwind tour of fashion-related rare books and archival materials at the University of Miami Libraries. Learn how South Florida’s tropical climate engendered a glamour of its very own. Attendees will view images of style and beauty (from hoop skirts to punk), marvel at over-the-top hairstyles through the centuries, fly by some fabulous aviation-related fashion, and take a close look at examples of 19th-century lace making and embroidery. Know where to eat on the Coral Gables Campus. 
This summer.
A majority of the Coral Gables Campus dining facilities remain closed until mid-August. If you’re on campus and find yourself in need of food, there are a few possibilities available on Mondays through Fridays only. Visit Café 1925 at The Lennar Foundation Medical Center between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Market at the Hurricane Food Court also is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. except on July 5—it will be closed for Independence Day. Starting Monday, July 12, the Starbucks at the Shalala Student Center is slated to open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, the Campus Store is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the Marine Campus, the Salt Waterfront Restaurant is open. Check out the possibilities on the Medical Campus, but be sure to call and ask for the hours of operation.

Athletics compliance: Recruiting student-athletes.

The internet has provided the opportunity for ’Canes fans and supporters from all over the world to communicate with each other in ways not possible before. Familiarize yourself with regulations regarding the internet, which is particularly important for all ’Canes to know when it comes to prospective student-athletes. Off-campus and in-person recruiting may only be completed by the University’s certified coaching staff members.
