The I-Corps@NCATS Short Course is an accelerated five-week program utilizing the Lean Launchpad Methodology. This Miami regional course is geared toward faculty members and researchers in Florida working on, or engaged in, the development of novel therapies, diagnostics, processes, and devices. The virtual program will focus on customer development and emphasizes the full Business Model Canvas. For the first time in 18 months, the Lowe Art Museum on the Coral Gables Campus has reopened to the general public and will now offer free admission through May 31, 2022. The museum will operate at reduced capacity to prioritize the health and safety of visitors, staff members, and the campus community. It is open to visitors by reservation only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be closed Sundays through Wednesdays. Explore three new exhibitions and many new gallery installations on view at the Lowe.

Learn to practice mindfulness in community.

Hosted by the University of Miami Libraries, these 45-minute sessions offer opportunities to learn and practice the fundamentals of mindfulness in community with others. Beginners are welcome. Sessions include guided meditations and periods of questions and responses facilitated by Kelly Miller, a certified mindfulness teacher and associate dean at UM Libraries; professor Scott Rogers, director of the University of Miami School of Law’s Mindfulness in Law Program; or a guest teacher.
