Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review and make changes to your medical, dental, disability, and flexible spending account benefits. During Open Enrollment, benefits-eligible employees can add, change, or remove benefits enrollment elections. Election changes made during open enrollment are effective on Jan. 1, of the following year. Outside of open enrollment, employees may only make changes within 30 days of a qualifying status change.
If you haven't already done so, now is the time to enroll in or make changes to your 2022 medical, dental, short-term disability, and flexible spending account (FSA) benefits by Friday, Oct. 29, 2021. Log in to Workday to review your elections and get answers to frequently asked questions.
If you are interested in changing your current benefits plan and have questions about current elections, the final open enrollment information session, hosted by experts from Human Resources’ Total Rewards, pay and benefits team, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. Register here.
Visit www.miami.edu/oe to compare details and costs of each plan, find assistance from benefits experts, and to get answers to frequently asked questions.
Faculty and staff members who have additional questions about elections or changes to their benefits can review the Human Resources’ Total Rewards FAQs, contact the pay and benefits team by completing the online inquiry form, or call 305-284-3004.
