The University of Miami Information Technology Department (UMIT) is changing the default sharing option in Microsoft cloud services—OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams—to “Specific people.” This change will ensure the security of all University digital information. ’Canes are asked to avoid using the “Anyone with the link” sharing option. Instead, UMIT recommends ’Canes to use the “Specific people” or the “People in your organization” sharing options. Learn more.
