As part of the University’s commitment to open communication and continuous improvement, the 2024 Powered By You Faculty and Staff Pulse Survey will launch on Tuesday, April 2 through April 19. The shorter survey, which is a follow-up to the 2023 Powered By You Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey, centers on priority areas—identified as most important by our workforce—allowing University leadership to evaluate the impact of engagement actions implemented at both enterprise and local levels. Learn more about the Powered By You Enterprise Action Plan, and be on the lookout for an email from Perceptyx with a link to complete the Pulse Survey.

The Office of the President is accepting nominations for the Roberta “Bosey” Fulbright Foote Prize. Nominated parties can include an individual or team who has made an enduring contribution to the beauty, humanity, and future of the University of Miami’s campuses. The award will be presented during the University’s Earth Day celebration on April 22. Learn more and submit a nomination.

The University’s Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) provides free and confidential one-on-one consultation sessions with licensed mental health professionals to eligible university employees and their dependents. Each month, the team of experts hosts webinars that tackle mental and behavioral health topics and provide tools to manage well-being. Additionally, University teams can schedule group check-ins to support their emotional and mental health during times of stress.
