Whether you’re looking for help to develop patience with mindfulness, increase compassion in the workplace, or want to be more optimistic, there’s a seminar for you. Offered throughout the month by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), experts dive into a variety of topics that support positive mental health and well-being practices. Learn how to maximize your Outlook calendar.

Many of us use Microsoft’s Outlook calendar to help us map out our days effectively by scheduling meetings and adding important reminders for ourselves or others. With Outlook calendars available in an array of digital styles—including Outlook on the web (OWA), Outlook mobile, and the Outlook desktop application—there are many ways to get the most out of these platforms. Participate in a Self-Defense Awareness Familiarization Exchange (S.A.F.E.) class.

In partnership with the University of Miami Police Department, the Title IX Office will offer a one-hour, crime-victim prevention program that encompasses strategies, techniques, and options that may reduce the risk of exposure to violence while introducing aspects of physical self-defense. Registration for the S.A.F.E class is limited to 20 participants. Secure your spot. Whether you walk, jog, or run, consider joining a virtual running team to help keep you motivated to reach your weekly goals. As part of their virtual wellness programs, the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center has organized an informal 5K team, which is open to the University community regardless of membership status.
