Faculty and staff members are invited to volunteer for ’Cane Kickoff 2021—the University of Miami’s undergraduate student orientation program. Volunteers will manage the welcome stations on the Coral Gables Campus starting on Monday, Aug. 16, through Wednesday, Aug. 18. Benefits-eligible University faculty and staff members can access care for acute illnesses and immunizations from Monday through Friday, by appointment only. Staffed by nurse practitioners who are overseen by University of Miami Health System physicians, the cost is $5 per visit (fee waived for immunizations). Employees can make an appointment for an in-person visit—the first appointment is at 7:30 a.m. and the last is at 3:10 p.m.—or request a virtual consultation for acute illness. Learn more.

Additionally, schedule a complimentary one-on-one consultation with a Fidelity retirement planner and take advantage of financial wellness tools available online, including a financial wellness checkup.
