Kicking off today with opening ceremonies and closing with a fireworks show on Friday, Nov. 4, all faculty and staff members, including remote workers, are invited to the University’s employee appreciation events during Homecoming Week. Sponsored by the Office of Government and Community Relations and Human Resources, employees can take a break and enjoy sweet treats and giveaways on all three campuses throughout the week. Also, claim your vouchers worth $5—available first come, first served—to redeem at the food trucks during the Hurricane Howl Block Party on Friday. Don’t forget to bring your ’Cane ID. Zoom is requiring all users to update their software by Nov. 5. The update will provide improvements to security, stability, and support. Individuals running unsupported Zoom clients after Nov. 5 will be prompted to update Zoom or join meetings from the web browser.
