President Frenk Wants to Hear from You

UM President Julio Frenk is looking forward to talking with you at Thursday’s Town Hall at the BankUnited Center.

University of Miami President Julio Frenk will host a Town Hall meeting this week to get input, comments, and ideas from the UM community about the University and its future.

The Town Hall, set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 10 at the BankUnited Center, will include a presentation by Frenk, followed by an extensive question and answer period with live questions from the audience, and pre-submitted questions through social media.

To submit a question via Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, use #AskFrenk.

The Town Hall will be moderated by alumnus Bryan Llenas, B.S.C. ’10, national correspondent for Fox News Channel and reporter for Fox News Latino.

Since beginning his tenure August 16, Frenk – the former dean of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health – has met with various constituencies throughout the University, greeted new students and their parents, and talked with Student Government leaders.

He wants to hear from as many people as possible about their thoughts on the University and what the institution’s future should look like as it approaches its centennial celebration in 2025.

Tickets are limited to one ticket per person, but faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome to invite their family and other friends of the University to apply for a ticket on the BankUnited system while they last.

Students also are limited to one ticket per person and must have a valid ’Cane Card to pick up their tickets.
