Students looking for assistance with prestigious awards and fellowships, programs of academic excellence, residential advising, the Foote Fellows Program, and Empower Me First will now be able to find staff guidance at the Bowman Foster Ashe Administration Building.

The Office of Academic Enhancement (OAE) is moving from their current location in Pentland House across from the Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center, to Suite 132 on the first floor of the Ashe Administration building at the center of the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus. The new office will be open on Monday, Feb. 4 for students and the offices' phone numbers have not changed, said Michelle Gonzalez Maldonado, executive director of the OAE and assistant provost of undergraduate education.

Maldonado added that the Ashe office will be temporary while a new, permanent space is being finalized that is expected to open in the fall. To reach the Office of Academic Enhancement, call (305) 284-3187 or visit their website to make an appointment.
