Here is what members of the University of Miami community need to know about COVID-19 testing procedures at the Pavia Garage, which now houses two testing sites.

UScreen Surveillance Testing Site

Located at the southern side of the Pavia Garage (the end nearest Levante Ave. and Toppel Career Center), the UScreen site provides testing for:

  • Unvaccinated students who are required to test twice per week
  • Employees who have an approved exemption who are required to test once per week
  • Vaccinated students and employees who also want or need to test based on personal preference or travel requirements

UScreen welcomes walk-in testing and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding University-observed holidays. A valid ’Cane Card is required. Results are available within 24 hours through MyUHealthChart.

Student Health Service Testing Site

The northern side of Pavia Garage (the end nearest Lake Osceola) is where Student Health Service offers testing to students who are symptomatic, regardless of vaccination status, as well as those who are identified as close contacts through contact tracing.

Appointments are required for testing through Student Health Service and are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To schedule an appointment, use MyUHealthChart.com and select the “Visits” button on the top of the screen.

Symptomatic employees should call 305-243-ONE-U to schedule an appointment for testing.
