If you live on campus, you must evacuate for a Category 3 or greater hurricane. Visit for more information about hurricane preparedness.

  1. Report suspicious activity.

Our campus community plays a huge role in preventing emergencies by reporting suspicious activity. Be aware of your surroundings and do not hesitate to report anything that does not seem right to you, by calling (305) 284-6666. Save the University of Miami Police Department’s number in your phone. Remember, if you See Something, Say Something!
