ICYMI: The corals of the future
Rosenstiel School research team recently imported dozens of live corals from Tela Bay, Honduras, known for its warm and murky waters. They hope to breed them with Florida corals in an effort to produce more resilient offspring. View photos and video documenting the intricate and involved efforts to gather corals in Honduras and transfer them to the Rosenstiel School.

Attend a hurricane preparedness training session.
Thursday, July 25, at noon.
This one-hour interactive training is appropriate for all levels of experience with hurricanes and strongly recommended for everyone. The class offers a brief discussion of hurricane facts and figures and interprets forecasting data. It also provides important information about how to stay safe before, during, and after a storm. Watch classic and modern films at the Bill Cosford Cinema.

Selected films will explore different facets of culture, race, humor, history, and the art of filmmaking. Tickets are $5 per screening.
