The following items provide information about campus spaces and programs that await students and faculty and staff members as the 2024-2025 academic year begins.

Campus Store

The Campus Store, located in the Norman A. Whitten University Center, also houses the Tech Store and USPS Station.

This fall, the ’Canes Course Pack program provides undergraduate students easy access to all required  course materials—print and digital—automatically upon registering for class. Students can opt out of the ’Canes Course Pack option per semester.

As an authorized campus store, save with education pricing and find deals on Apple products, including Mac and iPad. Contact the Campus Store for more information at miami@bkstr.com or 305-284-1253.

Dining

Dining Services has made several changes on the Coral Gables Campus, most notably opening the new Centennial Village Dining Hall. Food stations feature innovative cuisine that include all-day breakfast options, pizza and pasta, as well as deli, grill, and comfort offerings. A new dining hall option, Delicious Without, is an allergen-friendly station.

The Centennial Village Dining Hall also features an outdoor terrace, an expanded teaching kitchen, a bake shop, and a second floor with a state-of-the-art athletic training table serving student-athletes. Grand opening celebrations will take place during the first two weeks of classes. Dining hall meal plan options are available to resident and commuter students as well as faculty and staff members.

At the Donna E. Shalala Student Center, a newly-renovated Starbucks features a redesigned line queue aimed at improving the speed of service.

At the Whitten University Center, Tacos & Tattoos was replaced with SoCal Taco Co., a southern California-inspired concept that offers tacos and other flavorful Cali-Mex bites.

The Well ’Canes Marketplace, located at the Miller Circle, reopens on the Coral Gables Campus on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The Medical Campus will continue to offer the market every Thursday. View the full list of vendors, including student-launched Barnyard Bagel Co.
