Wellness Webinar: ‘Civility in the Workplace’ 
Tuesday, Sept. 17, at noon and 4 p.m.
During this virtual session, faculty and staff members are invited to examine the concepts of civility and incivility, their significance to organizations, as well as the typical causes and effects of each. Offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), this webinar will be facilitated by a University of Miami FSAP consultant, who will review the skills needed to effectively practice civil behavior. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1-5 p.m.
Whether you’re a first-year student looking to gain experience or a senior on the hunt for a full-time role, learn about hundreds of opportunities at the Fall Job and Internship Expo. Organized by the Toppel Career Center, the annual in-person event is open to all majors and attracts companies from across the nation looking to hire ’Canes. University students and alumni can network with recruiters from a wide range of industries, including health care, engineering, government, education, nonprofit, and science, among others. During the event, participants can also explore the Graduate School Fair to connect with representatives from a variety of graduate and professional programs. Learn more about career fairs.

‘St. Vierja Academy’ premiere screening at the Bill Cosford Cinema
Friday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m.
Set in 1970s Panama, the film follows the emotional journey of Toño, a teenager facing challenges at an exclusive school, and later reconnects with his past as a practicing doctor in the U.S. Directed by Dr. José Antonio Stoute, a graduate of the Miller School of Medicine and retired U.S. Army Colonel, the film will be followed by a discussion with the director and a reception. Admission is free but registration is required.
