From Sunday, Nov. 17, until Sunday, Nov. 24, the University will partner with the Miami Book Fair, organized by Miami Dade College, to celebrate literacy and arts from around the world. Nominate a faculty member for a Provost Award.

University faculty can nominate a faculty member for the 2025 Provost’s Awards in the categories of faculty excellence and impact and teaching. Note, nominations for the Provost's Teaching Awards may be submitted by staff, undergraduate or graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty. Submissions should include a nominee’s biography and a written statement describing their reason for nominating.

The Office of Sustainability invites Canes to participate in a survey about commuting to, from, and around campus. In partnership with the Parking and Transportation and Campus Planning and Development, survey responses will be used to determine the future direction of alternative mobility at the University. The best answers to the open question will be eligible to receive a gift basket, which includes a T-shirt, reusable bottle, gift cards, and a solar phone charger. Take the survey now.
