The University’s Bachelor of General Studies Program–with evening, weekend, and online courses, plus tuition remission for eligible University and UHealth employees–may be a good fit. Apply by April 1 to begin classes in Summer or Fall 2025 semesters.

Bringing together today’s leading entertainment, sports, and art law experts, the Global Entertainment and Sports Law and Industry Conference leads a multifaceted discussion on current issues in the industry. More than 30 guest speakers are scheduled to present at the two-day event at the Donna E. Shalala Student Center. Presented by the School of Law's Entertainment and Sports Law Society and LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Program, this event is free for University students and faculty and staff members. For more than four decades, the Miami Film Festival has been a celebration of cinema, showcasing groundbreaking films and hosting influential voices. From 1984 to its evolution into a world-renowned event, the festival continues to bring the magic of film to Miami’s diverse and passionate audience. This year, several University faculty and students from the School of Communication will present their works during the festival at the Bill Cosford Cinema between April 4 and April 12. In honor of Earth Month, the University of Miami is hosting events throughout April. Canes are invited to a series of workshops, panel discussions, and planting events. On Earth Day, visit the Earth Day Fair on the Lakeside Patio to learn how University students, faculty and staff members, vendors, and community partners are making our planet and University a better, greener place.
