Fall 2025 Commencement
Deadlines are Oct. 10 and Oct. 16 for students and faculty, respectively.
Both ceremonies are held at the Watsco Center located on the Coral Gables Campus. University students who plan to complete their degree requirements in the fall semester are eligible to apply for graduation on CaneLink by Friday, Oct. 10. University faculty who wish to participate in the Fall 2025 Commencement exercises must RSVP by Thursday, Oct. 16. If needed, faculty regalia rentals must also be ordered by Oct. 16. Tickets, free of charge, are required for all guests attending commencement. Guest tickets may only be reserved by students. The 2025 Powered by You Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey launches on Tuesday, Sept. 30 and will remain open through Tuesday, Oct. 21. This survey builds on priorities identified by our workforce in previous years and helps University leadership assess progress, uncover new opportunities for improvement, and ensure our efforts are making a real difference at the enterprise and local levels. Roberto C. Goizueta Distinguished Artist-in-Residence Program
Application deadline is Dec. 2
The Cuban Heritage Collection (CHC) at the University of Miami Libraries welcomes applications for the inaugural Roberto C. Goizueta Distinguished Artist-in-Residence Program for the 2026-2027 academic year. Artists across all disciplines, including but not limited to literary, visual, and performing arts, who wish to conduct extensive research in the rich archival holdings of the CHC to advance their artistic practice are invited to apply. The program provides time and resources for research and creative immersion in the CHC’s extensive collections, which document the history and culture of Cuba and its diaspora. Learn more.
