University offers Sustainability Scholar Program
Deadline to submit applications is Friday, Oct. 17.
Offered by the Office of Sustainability, the goal of the Sustainability Scholar Program is for students to further incorporate sustainability into their curriculum and cultivate leadership skills in promoting sustainability on campus and beyond. Students are encouraged to think critically about what economic, environmental, and social factors advance or inhibit long-term sustainability goals. The program is open to all majors and completion status will appear on the student’s transcript. Scholars’ work will also be recognized at an annual Sustainability Showcase during which scholars will receive their certificate of completion. Submit your application by Friday, Oct. 17.
