University offers Sustainability Scholar Program
Deadline to submit applications is Friday, Oct. 17.
Offered by the Office of Sustainability, the goal of the Sustainability Scholar Program is for students to further incorporate sustainability into their curriculum and cultivate leadership skills in promoting sustainability on campus and beyond. Students are encouraged to think critically about what economic, environmental, and social factors advance or inhibit long-term sustainability goals. The program is open to all majors and completion status will appear on the student’s transcript. Scholars’ work will also be recognized at an annual Sustainability Showcase during which scholars will receive their certificate of completion. Submit your application by Friday, Oct. 17. For faculty and staff members, Open Enrollment is your opportunity to learn about your benefits, ask questions, and make informed choices for 2026. Make your 2026 elections with confidence with these helpful guides, FAQs, premium charts, detailed event schedules, and step-by-step instructions to review your options. Also, visit any on-campus or virtual fair to speak directly with benefits experts. Open Enrollment runs from Monday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. 2025–2026 Faculty Senate Awards application submissions
Deadline is Friday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. 
Members of the full-time general faculty can nominate their colleagues for one of three prestigious awards given for teaching, scholarship, and service.
