A weekly series designed to highlight events, benefits, perks, and items of interest for the University of Miami community.

School of Architecture 2026 Spring Salon Series
Multiple dates, 5:30 p.m.
Co-hosted by the School of Architecture and the Rosenstiel School for Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science, the 2026 Spring Salon Series, "Harmonizing Urban and Natural Patterns in South Florida: A Two-Campus Exchange Centered on Key Biscayne," will be presented over the course of two early evening Thursday sessions, on Feb. 5 and 12. The series, introduced in 2022 by Sonia Chao, associate dean of research at the School of Architecture, focuses on interdisciplinary research initiatives. The format is inspired by the informal structure of salons, designed to facilitate thought-provoking and in-depth discussions on a specific topic, with an emphasis on sharing ideas rather than solely receiving information.
