Attend the opening reception for ‘IL Carico del Tratteggio’ by Monia Meluzzi
Thursday, April 9, 4-7 p.m.
The Department of Art and Art History proudly presents “IL Carico del Tratteggio” by Monia Meluzzi, an exhibition dedicated to the trace of the line, using the metaphor of emotional weight carried from life experiences during an existential journey. This accumulation of emotions materializes through the repetition of lines, creating volume, depth, and shadow. The exhibition guides the audience through sketches, sculptures, and video installations made with recycled materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, silk screen fabric, and threads. Attend the opening reception at the recently opened University of Miami Art Gallery@The Chapel. “IL Carico del Tratteggio’ will be on view through April 22.
Learn helpful tips to view your external email subject line
Earlier this month, the University’s Information Technology department updated the external email warning banner in Outlook. The banner is an important security feature designed to help you quickly identify messages that may be external or potentially unsafe but are not always obvious. Recent feedback has indicated that on some devices—particularly mobile—the external email warning banner may obscure the email subject text. View quick tips to help ensure you can see more of the email subject line, depending on how you access your email.
