Reminder: Complete your COVID-19 module and Daily Symptom Checker

Every member of the University community should complete the COVID-19 "We Are One U" module. Also, the Daily Symptom Checker is required for anyone who will be on campus in order to remain in compliance with safety protocols.

As we wrap up the first month of the spring semester, we must continue to follow the University of Miami’s COVID-19 protocols to keep our community safe. Please remember to complete the Daily Symptom Checker and the updated COVID-19 "We Are One U" module

FOR THE MODULE:

Continuing Students—which includes first-year students who started in the fall, as well as sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, law, and medical students—can access the module at https://rise.articulate.com/share/WQxe7SgfpdSm1AwZ-JiqraMgSJebrdA7.

First-Year and Transfer Students who enrolled in January 2021 can access the module using the following directions:

  • To access the "We Are One U" module and UMX 100, go to courses.miami.edu.
  • Enter your ’Cane ID and password to access Blackboard, then look for UMX 100 under “My Courses.”
  • Using the “Tool Bar” on the left-hand side, access “My Modules,” where you will find all of the UMX information, the COVID-19 Safety Principles: We are One U, and the ’Canes Pledge.
  • You will receive a certificate when you have completed this module.

Faculty and Staff can access the module by visiting ulearn.miami.edu and searching on the main page for “We Are One U: COVID-19 Safety Principles.”

In addition, anyone physically present on the Coral Gables, Medical, or Marine campuses must complete the required Daily Symptom Checker immediately before arriving. The Daily symptom Checker needs to be completed each day a person will be on campus. Students, faculty, and staff may be asked to display the “Good to Go” status to enter buildings or participate in in-person activities, including classes. You can access the Daily Symptom Checker online or through the UMiami app.
