Canes Course Pack Program
Deadline to opt out is Sept. 3
University of Miami undergraduate, degree-seeking students taking between one and 20 credits are automatically enrolled in the Canes Course Pack when they register for their courses. Through this program, students receive their required materials for class for one low, flat fee. Course materials will be provided to the student in a digital format or a physical format when digital is not available. Print materials do not need to be returned at the end of the semester. For the first time, all full-time faculty members, including lecturers, are invited to attend the next Faculty Senate meeting, hosted by Joe Echevarria, president and CEO of the University of Miami and president of UHealth. This Zoom meeting is an opportunity for faculty members to engage in dialogue with the president. There is no business agenda. View all meeting dates for the 2025-2026 academic year. Anchored in Safety, Powered by Knowledge Safety Fair
Thursday, Sept. 4, 8 a.m.-noon
Hosted by the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science, and in collaboration with the Florida Department of Transportation and other community partners, this community event focuses on promoting road, bike, pedestrian, and marine safety. The family-friendly fair will feature educational booths, live safety demonstrations, giveaways, and interactive exhibits. The Frost Preparatory Program offers music classes for children starting at age 3 months, along with adult offerings for University faculty and staff members and students. Housed within the Frost School of Music, the program offers participants access to world-class faculty, cutting-edge facilities, and a vibrant musical community.
